At Summit Counseling, we work with couples in all stages—dating, engaged, married, or navigating separation. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where both partners can feel seen and heard.

Often, couples find themselves stuck in repeating patterns of disconnection—regardless of the issue at hand. By identifying these cycles and the emotions driving them, we’ll begin to uncover the deeper needs and fears that may be fueling conflict. Through this process, you’ll gain greater understanding of yourself and your partner, creating space for empathy, vulnerability, and healing.

When you arrive for your couples counseling session, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, supportive environment where healing and connection are the focus. In your first appointment, you and your partner will share your relationship story—the strengths and the struggles—while the therapist listens attentively.
Together, you'll explore challenges such as communication breakdowns, trust issues, or intimacy concerns via an evidence-based, trauma-informed approach. Guided by active listening and open, compassionate dialogue, the session may also include practical tools and “homework” to help you build healthier patterns between visits. With patience and commitment, this safe space is where deeper understanding and renewed connection begin.
